Faith/Service

As a Catholic secondary school, Marian practices and teaches the beliefs of the Catholic faith. An Invitation to Spiritual Development is integral to the Marian experience of Catholic education. Young women are invited to grow in their faith and participate in this “future plan of hope” by:

  • Learning about their faith in theology classes that focus on scripture, morality, Catholic/Christian teaching and Sacraments.
  • Celebrating their faith in liturgy and daily prayer.
  • Strengthening their faith through retreats.
  • Witnessing their faith through Christian service.

Marian Spirituality

MaryStatueMarian is dedicated to the Mother of God. In 1955, the Servants of Mary began guiding and leading young women to the life of Mary. They found in her a woman of committed faith and strength of character. They discovered a woman with a compassionate, kind, and caring approach to life. Our students continue to find in Mary a woman who participated in God’s plan for her. A special teaching unit, written by a Servant of Mary, is taught each year with an emphasis on Christian womanhood. Mary’s ministry to the people of God was evident at the feast of Cana. She draws women to her redeeming light– her love of her Son. As partners with Him, great miracles are performed.

Attendance at religious services and retreats is required of all students. However, we welcome young women of any religious background to share in their journey of faith with us.

Christian Community

ChristianCommunityIn a school where gospel values are preached and practiced, young women are educated to realize their gifts and then discover the hope that is within them. In an empowering environment, they are called to live their faith through charity and service to others. Our Campus Ministry program provides opportunities for leadership in the truest sense of the term – SERVICE. Students become servants of God and partners with Jesus and Mary.
