Jillian Roger began teaching in the Social Studies department in 2016. She currently teaches Honors/AP U.S. History, Honors/AP U.S. Government and African American History. She is also the coordinator of the Humanities Scholar Program. Roger holds a bachelor’s degree in History and American Studies from Creighton University, a master’s degree in Secondary Education from Creighton University and a master’s degree in History from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Before her time at Marian, Roger spent four years teaching at St. Cecilia Cathedral Grade School and two years at Spalding Academy in Spalding, NE as a member of the Magis Catholic Teacher Corps.
