Susie Sullivan, a 1980 Marian graduate, has rejoined her alma mater after 11 years of teaching in the Millard Public Schools District. Her work experience illustrates leadership activities at both the district and building level. Most recently, she taught eighth-grade American History and English at Russell Middle School. She served on the district’s RTI+I Literacy Committee from 2011 to 2013 and has served as chair on the Russell Middle School Principal’s Advisory Committee since 2012. Sullivan graduated from Carroll College in Helena, Mont. where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in History with a minor in English. She received her teaching certificates in Language Arts, 6-8 and Social Sciences, 6-12 from College of St. Mary. She went on to receive a Master of Science in Educational Administration and Supervision, from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with a 7-12 Principal Endorsement and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Reading.
