Fine Arts
The Dance Program includes ballet and tap classes for the beginner and the intermediate student. Dance demonstrations are held at the end of each semester. In addition, more advanced students have the opportunity to choreograph their own pieces.
The Instrumental Music Program provides the opportunity to participate in both a band and an orchestra. Instrumentalists perform as soloists, small ensembles, and large ensembles for concerts as well as liturgies and other special events. Class instruction is available for both the beginner and the advanced musician.

Drama and theatre classes are also taught at Marian. Students learn that dramatic experience is a very human activity—one that reaffirms the statement: “I exist. My life has meaning.”

Fine Arts Department
F.A.M.E.
F.A.M.E. (Fine Arts at Marian Enthusiasts) is a booster club to support the visual and performing arts at Marian including: art, band, dance, drama and music. F.A.M.E. was developed to support these activities, and encourage a life-long appreciation for the Arts.
Many Marian girls discover and develop their talents, forge lasting friendships and gain cultural experiences by participating in the Fine Arts classes and performances. Parent support and involvement is needed to develop the goals of each Fine Art area and build enthusiasm for long-range goals of the Arts at Marian.
If you would like to help enhance the personal development of Marian’s young women in the Fine Arts, become a member of F.A.M.E. and volunteer your help with F.A.M.E. projects this school year.
