My name is Bailey Nihsen Postlewait ’15, and I am the new Alumnae Director at Marian High School. I took over this position from Nancy Kettering Casey ’82, who retired from Marian after 20 years. Join me in congratulating Nancy on a much-deserved retirement.

I graduated from Marian in 2015 and am incredibly blessed to be back at my alma mater. As a student, I participated on the trap team, select women’s choir, musicals, FMLA, recruitment, and several other activities and clubs. My favorite memories at Marian include:

  • Attending all the state sporting events.
  • Welcoming the incoming freshman at the summer ice cream social.
  • Volunteering at various events like FEST and Lexus Championship.
  • Performing in Disney’s The Little Mermaid for the first year the PAC opened.
  • Watching my class bond during Field Week.

After Marian, I got my bachelor’s degree in communications and became an event planner, which I have been doing for the last five years. After seeing the Alumnae Director job posting on Marian’s website, I decided to take a leap of faith after prayerful discernment. So now, here I am!

As Alumnae Director, I aim to understand you and the rest of our alumnae and what you want to see and experience from Marian. I’d also like to bring our alumnae back to school to tour our new facilities, grab some Marian gear, talk to current students about your experiences, and remanence on your fondest memories at Marian. My ultimate goal is to find new ways to engage with alumnae across all generations.

I hope to connect with you soon.
