On Nov. 13th The National Scholastic Press Association announced the winners for their 2021 Design of the Year competition. The Network, a monthly news publication created by select members of the Honors Journalism II class, earned a fifth place finish for the cover designed by Maddie Genoways ’21 (with some content by Naomi Delkamiller ’21). BURN, a literary arts magazine that showcases the original artwork, photography and creative writing of the student body, earned a fourth place finish for the 2020 fall cover featuring art by Emma Gunn ’21 and design choices by Adelaide Witte ’22.

Two students earned Honorable Mentions in the Portfolio of the Year contests.

In the National Student Media Contest – in conjunction with the virtual National High School Journalism Convention, junior Ceci Urbanski earned an Excellent Award for Editorial Cartooning.
