
Marian Summer Sampler
Join us at Marian for two weeks of summer camp. Now is the time to try something new! We have sessions dedicated to art and creativity, science and tech, and athletics.
Build a schedule that works for you. Take a course or two, or fill-up your day. Camps are girls only, grades 4-6 and grades 7-8. All sessions will be taught by a member of Marian’s faculty.

Marian reserves the right to cancel any camp for any reason, and full refunds will be made for camps cancelled by Marian. Prior to June 1, withdrawals are eligible for a refund of the camp fee, minus a $10 withdrawal fee. After June 1, no refunds for camp withdrawals will be made without a medical excuse. Camp registrations are non-transferable.

Coding with MicroBit
Combine creativity with technology as you learn to code with this mini computer. Cost includes the MicroBit and accessories, which each camper will take home at the end of the week.

Crazy about Clay
We’ll create a variety of projects while we explore the methods of hand building, slab, pinch and slump. Students will also learn proper glazing techniques with access to a variety of high fire and low fire glazes.Grades 4-8: June 7-11 | 1 – 3 p.m.

Decorative Door Hangers
Welcome friends and family with your very own door hanger. Using a variety of media, we’ll create two door hangers – one personal and one seasonal. You’ll also learn how to use basic power tools safely.

Forensic Science: Marian CSI
Love a good mystery? Use science, like DNA and finger printing, to solve a case.

Paint the Town!
Have fun experimenting in Marian’s art studio as you build skills in brush techniques, color mixing and design while using watercolor, tempera, inks, mixed media and acrylics. This class is for both beginners and more advanced young artists to find and explore their own personal style. Students will receive an amazing art kit that includes a sketchbook, brushes and more!

Pinterest Crafts – Find Your Pinspiration!
We’ll master popular Pinterest crafts and turn everyday objects into works of art. Projects on our to-do list include: Mason jar pencil holders, wall art, string art, bath bombs and a jewelry hanger.

Meet Mini – your very own robot. Learn to code, play games and drive around the halls of Marian with your Sphero Mini. Cost includes the Sphero robot and accessories, which the camper will take home at the end of the week.

Debate Camp - What's Your Point?
Learn the basics of developing a good argument while you promote or refute a policy or issue. Debate develops confidence along with critical thinking and public speaking skills

Digital Art 101 - Graphic Design Basics
Using Procreate digital software, you’ll learn the basics of graphic design. You’ll create digital artwork using backgrounds, fonts and other graphics. Campers will take home a Marian iPad and Apple Pencil for the week to practice skills learned in class. Artwork will be printed and mounted.

Learn the basic techniques of flag spinning and learn a choreographed routine set to music.

Glass & Jewelry Camp
This camp will explore a variety of media to create works including polymer clay, glass and metals. Learn the basics of glass fusing and all the tools used to create a stunning glass piece using Marian’s very own glass kiln. We’ll also use basic metal-smithing and soldering skills to create a unique piece of jewelry to take home.

Percussion Camp –Turn the Beat Around!
Find your rhythm and blast out a beat. We will explore the basics of percussion with basic buckets. Learn basic grip, technique and rhythm patterns and create your own music in this beginner bucket drumming course.
